Community Involvement
Hyundai of Kennesaw loves serving the automotive needs of Kennesaw, GA, and the surrounding communities. But we're more than just a dealership. The Krause Auto Group is passionate about supporting lung cancer research and promoting autism awareness, and we recently started a new initiative to help feed those in need in Atlanta. We've called it Angie's Kitchen.
Named in honor of Angela Krause, daughter of Vernon and Marie, and sister to Jennifer, Matt and Zack Krause, Angie's Kitchen resulted from the vision of Vernon Krause and Clifton Dawkins to provide assistance to the underprivileged in Atlanta and Fulton County, GA. This outreach serves daily meals to the homeless and others in need, and our first meal was served on September 6, 2021. The mission of Angie's Kitchen is to serve the children of God while demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ to all.
Would you like to join us in feeding the hungry? We are gratefully accepting donations of any of the following non-perishable items:
- Canned Soup or Soup Stock
- Little Debbie's Packaged Snacks
- Pasta
- Rice
- Black Beans
- Boxed mashed Potatoes
- Canned Vegetables
- Tomato Sauce
- Pasta Sauce
- Canned Fruit
- Individual Fruit Cups
- Ice Tea, Kool-Aid or Lemonade Mix
- Pancake/Biscuit Mix
- Cornbread Mix
- Macaroni & Cheese
We are asking banks, churches or other community business partners to commit to donating the following perishable items once a month or once a quarter(depending on the quantities of food donated.
- Ground Sausage
- Ground Beef
- Frozen Fish
- Chicken Thighs or Breasts (frozen or fresh)
- Chicken Nuggets
- French Fries
- Bacon
- Breakfast Sausage
- Sliced Cheese
- Lunch Meat
- Eggs
